came in pieces. It required both of us to put together; one person did the screw application and the other held the section being worked on. Working slowly, it took us around 30 minutes. The directions were easy to follow, and all the necessary hardware was provided. gorgeous chair It's incredibly comfy and I love the size. This is my reading chair, which is currently inside our home but may move outside once the weather gets warmer. I'm overjoyed with this lovely item!
